Council Duiran exists to protect Nature. The Council has two Patrons who
teach us how to do this. Haern has proclaimed that exterminating is a
foul act and that no patch of forest must ever remain un-rejuvenated.
Our Patrons also teach that no one owns any part of any forest, and that
no one must ever own any part of the forest.

Council Duiran acts on Divine teachings, and it is for this reason that
we cannot bend this part of the issue.

Your claim that if the FFoS were like "the Confederacy" you would
require huge amounts of "war costs" multiplied to also suit our "greed"
makes little sense in the light that I have offered to unenemy you (and
any others in the FFoS) who agree to stop exterminating and allow
rejuvenating... I have asked for no compensation, so I don't see how I'm
being greedy. I do admit that near the beginning, fines to cover
rejuvenation costs were asked, but such attempts have long since been
discarded.
