In Memory of Malevolence

Sapience,

We stand this day tending the scars of war, travelling the scarred landscape, renewing our exhausted wills as a representation of the might of Creation. Our mortal workings surpassed physical and mental boundaries to ensure that we saw Sapience yet stand. Be proud of this, for it is no small feat of mortalkind to achieve what we did these past many weeks.

For those in Bloodloch, we saw Strength in Blood, Strength in Earth, Strength in Slaughter, made manifest in the war machine that tread across Sapience fearlessly facing foes.

For those in Enorian, they found bolstered Faith, uncanny zeal, and a dream of an Age of Dawn that was made manifest. Undying resolve stood resolute before their enemy.

For those of the North, they used ingenuity, wit, guile and science to create atrocities of war machines that sundered and caused the planes to tremble and foes to vaporize to their essential constituents.

For those of the Duiran Council, we sought wisdom of our Ancestors, made offerings in Blood and Bone to our Guardians, hardened ourselves in the name of the Cycle and brought distraction to Creation to bring forth Life renewed, while laying to rest our foes in Death.

Our Gods, agree with Them or not, stood together in the Creator's name, animosities cast aside to see unified strength in their Duty. No feat of the Divine should be likened to any modicum of weakness, and I for one having experienced what Ohlsana brought forward and felt the imprisonment of Her will will stand for the final stand that one of our Divine made, for She of Malevolence utilised strategy with Her final vestiges of being to safeguard our Creation from Fundamental Darkness' will upon us all.

I ask each of you, not as a Warden of Death nor as a Warden of the Pride, but as another mortal who has experienced alongside all of you the harshness of what we truly faced. That each City, regardless of Affiliation or Faith honor Her. There is a tradition we of the Pride hold close to our heart, our Ancestors are of utmost importance, the departed who bear a story worthy of telling, and should be celebrated. Death while it exists as a finality, and stands an inevitable end to all things, is not a call to forget them. Divine or Mortal.

Her history is not mine to tell, I am young, I know of Her as the once Muse, then Malevolent.

I will not remember her as Nega-Iosyne, nor should any of you, that story died by the hands of Strife. However, the story that was beloved or otherwise did not. She survives in memory, so long as the story remains told and name honored.

Judgement is not ours to give unto the Divine.

In service to Death,
