At the darkest hour of Night, the five Eldest Consanguine still walking
the realms met in a sacred place. Invoking the ancientmost powers of
Blood, they appealed to the Queen Belladona, asking to receive her
blessing in the raising of a new Prince.

The Elders spoke unanimously, and the Queen heeded their call. Bestowing
her blessings upon the Elders, she willed that the dark ritual go forth.
Thus, Grand Duke Lucien D'Baen has been raised in Blood to Prince Lucien
of House D'Baen, by the choosing of the Elders and the aquiescence of
Belladona, Greatmother of all Consanguine.

Let all know that the Elders of the Blood keep the Legacies alive, and
the power of the Night is strong within the dark Queen's childer.
