Disdain

Esrytesh has plainly stated that the consequences were already known before any military manoeuvres were enacted, and in many words, chastised any disdain shown for the delicate balance of the world. Duiran is incising the "slow rot" of shadow, as it were, that we so "flagrantly bathe in". Perhaps the Heartwood would soon turn too, to march against the inflexibility of Spirit and the order it seeks to impose at the cost of this... balance.

I know, far more acutely than most, that strength is ever a nebulous concept to grasp but at its root, it is defined by the conviction and purpose of its pursuit. As such, I commend you, Rihrin, for the fortitude it must have taken you to own up to the actions of the Council as its former Voice and the repercussions we must all face as a result of its rampage. It certainly appears that it has flown into the faces of your fellow woodsmen as an endeavour of futility.

Let us not forget to praise, however, how close they take after Lord Haern; to act incisively and foolishly without any forethought is akin to undertaking a project with no conclusion in mind.

The hastened progress of this world's end seems very much like Duiran's self-imposed yoke to bear and the Bloodlochian Empire is all too happy to stand aside and observe the antics of an organisation as it strives to salvage what remains of its pride.
