Arboreans of Cantor's Copse

Dead does not mean gone.

The Elder Lady of Life, the Evergiving Earth may not be with us anymore, but Her memories linger. Her teachings remain, and Her gifts are plentiful.

The so-called strength of the Earth is cowardice - an attempt at denial of the inevitable: death. It is a sham of a life, a life for those too craven to experience what living truly means. For in sickness do we learn to cherish health. In death do we learn to revere life.

Live! Look around yourself, and see what She has built for you, to shelter you after She is gone. Witness the life that grows upon yourself, and realize you are never truly alone. Listen to the song of creation that brings to bloom every budding flower, and watch your saplings grow in the sunlight and prosperity of your Copse.

Live, and grow.

I cannot claim to have known Her entirely, but my memories of the time we had with Her are freely shared, if any of you seek to learn more of Her ideals.

Penned by my hand on Gosday, the 3rd of Arios, in the year 503 MA.
