Revelation

Herald of Strife,

If only my arrows flew as fast as you manage to reframe your world to keep your Warlord 'right'!

You accuse this goddess of the same atrocity that our absentee Creator perpetrated. To this, I say that it might look similar only upon its face. To anybody with a modicum of education in the inner workings of Chaos, however, the bartering and consumption of memory is nothing new or revolting. This new goddess brought Revelation through Her understanding gained by the Source of Knowledge. She snuffed out no Elder lives in a desperate gambit, She darkened no worlds for sake of Her greed, and She did not flee as cravens do. No, instead, she lived up to the creed that you prattle on about during the quietest of times:

She endured.
She remade herself in the crucible of Her imprisonment.
She turned Her suffering around as a spear to be thrust into the heart of Her betrayers.

It just so happens that the spear is directed at your Legion's Spymaster.

I see now why Varian gave us Strife, instead of a more straightforward or relevant essence to safeguard this pilfered domain of his:

We were just as much a threat as Varian claimed the Albedi to be.

We could never know the truth. We were given your Silver Dog to keep us busy. A populace plunged into disorder and strife would never be capable of taking the time to discover the truth. He gave us your god as a distraction - nothing more, nothing less. There is no grand purpose to him, no greatness or protective mission. You serve as herald to a god that exists as a mere smokescreen for these crimes. Every booted step you march is in service to a lie, in service to the conquering of a land and world that is not ours.

After all, we possess voices. We possess free will.

We, too, could sing the Dirge that scared the Creator so utterly that he was moved to quash the rebellion of the Arboreans personally.

We, too, could make war upon him for his selfishness.

And I know I will.
