That sure is a lot of words to say "Severn has done nothing wrong" and to try and justify the danger that He brings upon us all. But let's use some of that critical thinking you all claim to be so big on in the Spires, hm?

How many times has He lied, manipulated, or murdered simply to further His own ends, not those of the rest of the continent or world? How many of His Siblings has He betrayed, how many mortals has He harmed? How much damage has He personally caused to this plane with His reckless use of raw elemental Shadow?

You defend a murderer and liar. You defend a being so reckless and you claim that He has simply done His duty?

Was He simply doing His duty when He gave Yrtez the keys to the creation of the scourge that is Vampirism? Was He doing His duty when He failed to prevent the incursion into the Prime by Ohlsana's shadow beasts that led to the death of Lanos? The abduction and murder of a priest of Lanos after His sacrifice? What of His personal use of Ohlsana's spawn as pets and weapons? We could discuss His destruction of the Blade of Truth, the desecration of His Twin's memory and temple. What about His attacks on His other Siblings' chosen, temples, and sacred creatures? Should we overlook the times that He has sought to bring harm to our homes?

Only a fool would claim that He has only ever done His duty. The events of the last week are just another example of His failures and outright malice.
