As most of you know, I don't have much 'private life'. My life is my
guild, my guildmembers are my family and my life.

Recently I have found a chance for happiness. My life has changed and I
feel that I SHOULD take a break sometimes and relax in the company of a
loved one.

Unfortunately, I have been approached be several people who have
expressed concern at my choice of companion and I thought I ought to put
their minds at rest along with the minds of those who feel the same but
do not like to tell me that.

As I said, my guildmembers are my family, my life....I love every single
last one of them and would NEVER put myself in a position which could
bring harm to them. My choice of companion is a personal thing, but I
assure all those who have expressed alarm that it will in NO way change
how I run the druid's guild.

I believe that one secret of a good relationship must be knowing how to
stay neutral in a personal way too and not let a friend's actions
influence your own. Being able to stand back and accept that a person is
different than you are and not just an extension of your own ego is a
gift that we should cultivate.

That's all I want to say really, I am grateful to those people who have
expressed concern for my welfare, I was surprised to find I have so many
friends in Aetolia.

oh, I almost forgot....in answer to the unspoken question on everyone's
lips, NO I will NOT be taking the embrace 🙂
