Holy War

Templars,

You have waged war on our Matron. However, a Guild going after shrines seems...petty and uneven, so we will equalize the attempt for you.

Benedicto, you said Malevolence is the need to cause Pain for the simplicity of Pain. It is obvious you do not know the lessons that come with Pain, so let us reconcile that for you. Consider this a Holy War against your Guild's Patron. We will bestow upon you the gift of Pain, of knowing you are the cause of destruction upon your own people. You will be able to do nothing but watch while we tear down the shrines your Guild pays homage to, showing you how it feels to be helpless to offer recourse.

The rules of this Holy War are simple:

Members who are part of either Order are the only ones who can actively participate.

The Holy War will last until either side resigns. Whatever essence is lost is lost. A formal posting of defeat will be written up and posted, and that will be the end of this petty squabble.

I trust that the Order of Damariel understands that this war is brought upon you because of the leader of a Guild that your Divine resides over. If your Order surrenders and your Patron removes Himself as representative of the Templars, the Order of Iosyne will cease our assault.

May the Malevolence bless you with Her Gifts. Understand that you are all equal to us, and in death we are equal to you.

In Pain, Blood and Roses,

Meltas Nehekhara

Sapience, let me make it clear, -only members- of either Order may defile shrines of Damariel or Iosyne during this time. Participation is entirely prohibited from outsiders and non-order members. Defying this rule will result in either Order guilty of breaking this rule forfeiting their rights, writing a surrender letter, and losing their shrines without interference.

Penned by my hand on Quensday, the 22nd of Midsummer, in the year 486 MA.
