Well Stricken, your whole post was amusing at best,
self-rationalizing at worst. Rejecting grace is given
as a token of trust in negotiations with me. You may
question your messenger, Bliss, on the authenticity
of my word. Which is more than I can say for Duiran.
Forgive me for demanding such strict settings for talks,
but it didn't particularly help your image when Nominuk
stood behind grace while talking to me, and as I stood
there conversing with him your hired assassin, Zahmekoses,
comes barging in and takes a blatant shot at me while
there was an opening in my defenses. I wove my protective
spells around me as a pre-caution, and I even invited you
to do so. In all negotiating talks with your kind so far,
I have never taken the initiative to assault any of you
regardless of how much I felt you deceitful, greedy
power-mongers deserved it. A 'def up' is exactly that,
a defense. If you saw me swinging a mace preparing to swing
judgement down upon you, then you could rightfully affirm
your suspicions. My actions at the Inn were pre-cautionary
measures taken to ensure no more of your murderers would
take me as easily as before. Since you apparently don't
have enough intellect to understand why these things are
done, perhaps you should cycle your negotiator position to one
that does. In response to your question of 'Who is unwilling
to negotiate?' The answer would be you. Either that, or
you are too stupid to understand the factors surrounding
an acceptable negotiation setting. Your offer has been
noted, but unfortunately cannot be reviewed because they
were not made during proper negotiations.

Yes, I myself stated that when this whole situation began
I found Duiran's fine to be acceptable but yet I disagreed
with the time length. When this thing _began_, I was two
years younger. During that time, I've been subjected to
a multitude of insults and injuries that I've already listed
and don't feel the need to rattle off for you. If your own
council still does not let you know what exactly your regime
did to me, it simply affirms my assertion that your command
structure is seriously flawed. If you do not realize that things
can change in two years, I don't understand how you decided
it would be a smart thing to take it upon yourself to re-open
talks of peace.

Like Stricken, I apologize to those of you who read Stricken's
post in its entire length. I just wanted you to realize the
type of people I'm being pitted against.
