Update

Well it honors me to say that I have now been put
under contract under a one Zahmekoses, most likely
courtesy of the Duiran/Sentinel alliance. It irritates
me to see that such organizations cannot rely upon
themselves in this sort of business. I guess the
fanatic supply ran low. The first time I clashed
with Zahmekoses saw him in the form of a fog making
his path away from me, most likely hoping the winds
didn't push him back toward my presence. The second
time saw Zahmekoses ripped from his physical form by
force.

If you are noticed restoring combat-effected (exterminated)
rooms, please note that your name will go down on the
rapidly overflowing list of hostile Duiran/Sentinel
members that have decided not to refrain from this conflict.
The same applies if you are spotted setting up traps
obviously intended for me.

If you are not currently on the list of hostile opponents,
are seen in a conveniently close location to my current
position, and have not already declared yourself neutral
and/or friendly, you may expect me to contact you asking
for your current state of intentions, whether they be
hostile or friendly. You will be given a set duration in
which I hope to receive a response. If no such response
is given I can only assume you are hostile (since so far
all my would-be murderers have declined to answer such
questions when I posed the queries to them) and take any
pre-cautions as warranted. This policy will be much more
lenient toward those of lower might, but those that have
fallen under the category of Able-bodied combatant (see
previous post[s] for definition) will be given little or
no warning. In addition to maintaining my current chances
of survival (which are few already in the face of such odds), this
policy will assist in helping people abstain from having
their souls temporarily away from the control of their
bodies. This method of discerning people's intentions
is not expected to be used too frequently in areas of public
congregation. However, if you are noticed in an area of conflict
such as a particular island (that shall remain unnamed), you
should not be suprised to be questioned. Please answer the
question as honestly and as timely as possible (ie do not
seek to imitate Duiran). If it turns out your intentions
were contrary to your spoken words, you will not be trusted
again until compensation has been made based on the damages
suffered due to your dishonesty.

All confrontations initiated by members of the so-called
Duiran/Sentinel bloc incur expenses on behalf of myself
and any allies present at the time. Such expenses will be
kept track of, and will be expecting to be made up for
prior to the end of the conflict. Using a similar method
of calculating penalties based on Duiran's fine creation
formula, I have constructed an estimate of expenses incurred
per Duiran/Sentinel fight:

Basically, you take the set bare worth of any material
used in a recent battle and tally them into a total
of variable A. Then, you take the amount of effort
spent turning that material into an effective combat
tool (on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being highest) and
place the total into variable B. Next, you take into
account your greed multiplier (scale of 1 to 10- for
me it would personally be around 1 or 2. For Duiran,
usually 9 or 10) and label the result variable C.

[(A*B)*C] = Gross amount totalled = X

Lets not forget to factor in your 'Tyrant Tax,' meaning
for the average non-Duiran accountant you would get 100%,
or no change. For the average Duiran accountant, you would
get anywhere from 110% to 150%. You note this as variable D.

X*D = Final amount

Example: I spend 100 coins worth of materials in a fight
with a Duiran fanatic. A=100.

It takes me about a 2 on the effort scale to forge said
materials into an effective tool for combat. B=2.

My greed multiplier would, in this case, be a 1 or 2.
We'll take worse case. C=2.

Tyrant tax is not an issue for me, thus D=100%, or 1.

[(A*B)*C] = 400 = X.
X*D=X, as D = 1.
Total amount incurred? 400.

But for the sake of point of view and trying to be fair,
lets calculate this from Duiran's point of view.
Example 2:

A Duiran fanatic incurs 100 coins worth of materials
in a fight. A=100.

Seeing as they must be so lazy to value their energy
so highly, we have all effort in their terms always at least
a 5. Usually its a good constant 10. So We'll say that
B=5.

Duiran's greed multiplier would be around 9-10. Let's say
10 for the sake of an even number. C=10.

[(A*B)*C] = 5000 = X

Tyrant tax applies to Duiran. Lets go for an average and say
about 125%. D=125%, or 1.25.

X*D = 6250

That is all.
