answers, and no apologies

Fayea,
We were protecting the wilderness, not just the forests.

There have been misconceptions because of the multitudes of people
posting, many of them not really knowing what they were posting about.
Tasur'ke has become like Eleusis in that it now exists much closer to
Nature. It now beats in time with the Rhythm.
Later posts, and posts by Haern and higher Hunters, were correct. Tasurs
were not harmed, as we said. Tasurs did have to change their way of
life: something freely admitted by Haern from the beginning.

You ask us what right we have to impose our ideals of life upon others?
I will now direct you to two posts: one by Belgarion, where he posed
much the same question as you (Public #392) and then to my reply (Public
#395). My words were blessed by Haern, though not directed.

We make no apologies for the fact that our actions have forced the
Tasurs to change thair way of life. They keep their lives, and families.
They may remain in the area if they so wish. We don't claim that what we
do is right by city-dweller standards. What we do is right by our
standards, we struggle in beat with the Rhythm and care not of the
dreams and hopes of those who wish to build a metropolis.

Irruel

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Slyphian, in the year 75 MA.
