The following shops are available in the city of Ashtan. Please contact
me if you are interested in purchasing one. All shop prices include the
cost of a shop description and a new shop name. These prices vary due to
location.
Emerald Emporium: located southwest of South of Central Market - 142,000
A vacant shop: located west of Outside the Royal Blacksmith - 112,000
A vacant shop: located northwest of Outside the Royal Blacksmith -
112,000

Also, the following laws concerning Ashtan shops have been implemented.
They will appear in the Ashtan laws scroll as soon as possible. Please
make sure you are aware of all of these new laws before purchasing a
shop within the city. These laws also apply to current shopowners as
well.

-Any shop owing taxes in excess of a two year cumulative amount, shall
be closed for business and the stockroom sealed. The shop owner will
then have six months to pay all owed taxes and a 2k fine. The shop owner
must contact the Chancellor or an aide to the Chancellor to arrange fine
payment.
- If the taxes and said fine are not resolved within the six month time
period, the shop will become property of Ashtan once again and all stock
within the store will be confiscated by the city.
- All items left in the stockroom will be stocked in Ashtan's shop upon
confiscation and any gold found within the stockroom will be deposited
to the Ashtan account.
- The Chancellor's office reserves the right to edit and change all shop
titles and descriptions.
- Any city enemy, wishing to keep the ownership of their shop, will be
given the option of paying taxes through deposits to the Ashtan account.
Any city enemy wishing to use this option, must contact the Chancellor's
office to arrange payment
- All shops for sale will be offered to Ashtan citizens first. If no
sales occur, they then shall be offered to the public at the same
prices.
-All shops must be used for revenue purposes. Stocking of personal items
not meant for sale is prohibited and those shop owners choosing to do so
will be taxed a considerably higher price. This higher tax price will be
issed at the discretion of the Chancellor's office.
- All individuals owning shops within Ashtan hereby are bound to these
laws. With purchase of a shop, the new owner has agreed to abide by
these laws, whether spoken agreement took place or not.

Please contact me with any questions concerning the shops of Ashtan.
