Your war

Greetings,

Forgive me but perhaps I am I need of further clarification regarding
the matter of your declaration of war upon Bloodloch.
You have stated you declared war because bloodloch will gain power from
Amairgen's mutilation of Dowager and Merentesh, yet what this power is
you do not know. How it will manifest you do not know. By this war you
wish to prevent us from exerting our powers (that you know not of)
beyond our boundaries.....hmmm
Now if that is not the most utterly ridiculous reason for war that I
have ever heard then, I can't imagine what else you may be able to come
up with.

Yes Camilla did come to Amairgen one stronger than she, to assist her
with Dowager. They even sat down and discussed it over tea. And of
course, being in a position to help the weak and the needy Amairgen
agreed. Surely you can understand this. For I am sure that it is not
beyond reason for even a mind such as yours to comprehend. A victim no
longer wishing to be victimized seeking the aid of another. Perhaps even
you yourself have been in this position at one time or another. Oddly
enough the innocence of Dowager is quite questionable to me, considering
her many years of
tormenting camilla. Yet you see nothing wrong with that. But suddenly
Dowager is a prominent citizen within Ashtan. I take it that Camilla is
of naught to Shallam in your eyes, hence your ability to turn blindly
away from Dowagers crimes against her.

But then again I digress.

In return for this assistance Camilla promised to assist amairgen in any
way that she could. Hence she offered her scalp unto amairgen for some
very necessary experiments. What these experiments shall give way
to...none of us know. Yet your fears allow you the right to condemn
bloodloch for seeking to gain strength. A strength that you have no
proof as to whether it will even affect you in any way. Your fears give
you the right to spread propaganda and blindly call war upon innocent
citizens. 'Tis my suggestion that you harness these fears until you know
exactly what it is you are afraid of. For none should have to be taunted
harassed and hunted because You are afraid of the unknown.

Perhaps they are warranted, however at the moment Bloodloch is not where
you should direct them. Perhaps you might be a bit fearful of the
disservice you have done unto your city by not taking responsibility for
Dowagers actions. Why have you turned blindly away from the fact that
your own citizen (chef Procurio) took part in all of this as well
against Dowager? For many years she has terrorized him as well with her
mal-treatment of him. Yet to you it is acceptable that she should go
unpunished. Perhaps dowager was not as innocent a victim as you make her
out to be.

You claim the Infernals rowdy for defending against those that would
declare war upon the city in which they live...how foolish is that?
Whilst all the while you plot and scheme with rogues not even of Ashtan
that they may aid you in battle against Bloodloch. How is it that you do
not see the likeness in your actions to that of the very situation that
you claim draws you to war?
You condemn Amairgen for mutilating Merentesh by taking his arm. I guess
you have that right as well, as one who would eat the heart of another
for the sake of her own strength or do you forget your own ability to
mutilate...Necromancer.

Bloodloch will not give merit to this war by aggressively engaging in
it. However we will stand to defend ourselves against those that would
take part in it. We will not bend to your demands of turning over
Amairgen or her experimental jars. For she is no more criminal in her
actions then those that would raid our city without reason or
provocation. She is no more criminal in her actions than the Prophet
Averroes that sent
Camilla to seek her out for assistance. Amairgen is a teacher and a
scholar and indeed she does respresent bloodloch. Her experiments
whatever they should give way to are to the benefit of bloodloch. Should
you truly wish to punish one for their desire to advance in the
knowledge of the dark
sciences perhaps you should begin in your own city. For I am sure that
the collection of baby fat must indeed be some sort of crime, you vile
hypocrit.
