The purpose of this post is to clarify the aspects of the declared war
on Bloodloch. I will attempt to keep this as short and simple as
possible, but some background information is
required.
While Events posting five states the basic facts, I believe there is
much the majority of the population does not know as to the results of
this event. Amairgen, the lich of Bloodloch, gained power for her city
from the death of the Dowager, and her scalping of Camilla Prietta.
While
the how exactly this new power has or will manifest is unclear, this war
has been declared for the purpose of preventing Bloodloch of exerting
power beyond its boundaries.
This power that Amairgen, and the city of Bloodloch wishes to gain is
being drawn from the deaths and mutiliations of prominent citizens of
the other cities. In Amairgen's library, jars are being kept. Three jars
now, as opposed to the two that were seen during the investigation after
the Dowager's feast. These jars contain a heart, a scalp, and an arm.
The heart belonged to the Dowager, the scalp to Camilla, and the arm?
Amairgen, who in all forms represents Bloodloch, had Merentesh, purveyor
of Delos, killed, for his arm. Merentesh, as well as his shop stocked
with a variety of weapons, is gone, due to the actions of Bloodloch.
Nice business for the forging community yet the continent has lost a
reputable merchant.
As said, the power that Amairgen is slaughtering and mutilating people
for is still unknown but does the population really wish to wait and
find out what power the city of Bloodloch with gain? Hence, this war, is
taking place for preventive measures and the stipulations set to
Bloodloch for the end of this war are simple: Amairgen, lich of
Bloodloch, will be turned over to the city of Ashtan for her crimes
against the Dowager, Merentesh, and if Shallam chooses, Camilla Prietta.
Her slaughtering of the citizens of Sapience will not be tolerated,
regardless of what she hopes to gain from it.
Bloodloch doesn't want this war, we all know that. You have stated you
will defend only and while that remains to be seen as your rowdy
Infernals are taking action in your city's name, that is understood. If
you truly wish to fighting to desist, Amairgen must be brought to the
city of Ashtan, will she will be detained and punished at the city's
discretion. The jars and their contents must also be turned over to the
Synod.
People have approached us for clarification, explanation of why this war
must continue. While you still may not agree, please consider the
actions of the city of Bloodloch, taken out by Amairgen
when forming your opinion. No one is being asked to take sides, this war
is not about body count, despite what the citizens of Bloodloch may tell
you. This war is taking place for the sole purpose of bringing
Bloodloch's prominent citizen
Ysni for the Synod of the Ashen Katar
