A letter to you

What do you know of the Citadel of Spires that make you privy to our
studies, and our way of life? What do you know of the purpose of our
work? If you have not done what we, and what our predecessors have
worked on, how would you know the value of our studies?

The chosen people of the Dark can equally see their destination. They
need not be guided like children being led by a hand to somewhere. We
are independent, and hold our heads high up, to be proud of what we
believe in. Our perceptions rule us, and thus, if you believe something
to be true, you follow it to the end. Since you have graciously spent
some time professing your beliefs, I shall do so as well.

Is change really as bad as you believe it to be? I know it is Lgakt, and
to me, and Scholars of the Cabal, to not change is to linger on within
apathy. True friends who change you seek not to allow you to fall deeper
into apathy. In turn, they are helping you, and thus can hardly be
called corruption in any form.

You mentioned Spireans as the stewards of great knowledge. This mean we
need not bind ourselves to only one section of knowledge, but rather,
all fractions of such. Obfuscation of the truth is one example, and it
serves its purpose pretty well, seeing how it is Yi after all.

The Divine we worship are all, for all Divine are worthy of respect. You
mean to refer, of course, to the Divine we swear our fealty to. Same as
what the Divine you swear your fealty to, we follow the tenets that we
have come to accept as a means of gaining knowledge (and amusement, as a
side motive).

As for stagnancy, all organization will undoubtedly have their own
stagnancy to deal with. I do not think that even your organizations of
the Light are spared the same issue. Yet, we deal with the stagnancy
through our own alternatives, not because we have lost our initial
direction, but because we seek for new routes in all directions.

The words within the Revelation, I equally direct to you: Your novices
are corrupt, your members are apathetic.

There is no higher way than the one we are currently walking upon;
because we are all upon equal grounds here - if Light cannot exist
without the Dark, so can be said as true in the opposite situation.
