Declaration of War
Written by: Holder of the Ashen Katar, Belgarion Amaratha, The Problem Solver
Date: Thursday, June 27th, 2002
Addressed to: Everyone
This document is a manifestation of the wills of the undersigned, and
the organizations that they represent, to formally present a united
front, named "Sydon of the Ashen Katar" and refered to later in this
post as us, to wage War upon those that we feel have wronged, have
gathered in conspiracy to wrong, or thru passive nature have become
involved with those that have wronged us. Bloodloch's city government,
and those that are loyal to them, along with the Infernal Knights, have
been examined by us, and we have found them to fall in just this
category. Thusly, under this declaration of war, you will have the
hounds of war unleashed upon you.
We declare that this war shall commence now, and not end untill our
demands have been met. There shall be no quarter for any citizen of
Bloodloch that has progressed out of the unknowlegable stage of
newbiehood. All members of Bloodloch have the responsibility to elect
their chosen leadership, and insofar as is relavent, must take
responsibility for those that you have emplaced as your leaders. All
leadership of Bloodloch will henceforth be enemied from the SotAk, and
the organizations that represent it.
Any person found aiding Bloodloch leadership, or loyalists of said
persons will be considered a loyalist, and all that that implies.
Also found as a problem is the current situation surrounding Amairen,
Lich of Bloodloch. A "respected" member of your society, Amairgen has
been proven to have conspired with much of your leadership, and has
caused much harm to our people. Amairgen is to be given up to us to be
detained for further action.
To the Infernal guild, it has been rumoured that you have begun the
stockpiling of steel, a needed commodity of Aetolia, making it very
prohibitive for those not previously supplied to make arms or armour. If
any stockpiling is being done, it is to be stopped, and in order to
further this, both Ashtan and Shallam have put an embargo on the steel
found in their city. No steel is to be bought from either commodity shop
run in the city, untill further notice, so that its price and
availability may become better.
We will would love to hear from any citizen of Bloodloch that wishes to
aid us, to send a tell directly to any of the undersigned. We understand
that your well being could be compromised with such an action, and would
hate for such to happen. Any who wish to help us will be left in
secrecy. Remember, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of
the problem.
For the leadership of Bloodloch, you have been warned right here, if any
of you have any sence of responsibility to your people, you will resign
your positions to at least save your people anguish. To the citizens of
Bloodloch and its loyalists, it is you who have control over who
represents you, its is your representatives that have brought this upon
you, only you can stop this war. And to those that may comment on this
war, if you don't have a part in it, choose a side and pick up arms, or
leave yourself out of it. We do not wish for this get any worse than it
already is. The blood we may have to spill will be more than we wish to
see in the first place.
For the preservation of our life, liberty, and freedom in all its glory,
Overseer of Ashtan, Ysni Ohmsford
Prince Zahmekoses Nebre'seir
Sultan of Shallam, Akaii Tl'uncre
Holder of the Ashen Katar, Belgarion Amaratha, War Leader of the SotAK.
May this come to a close as soon as possible, for the better.
Penned by my hand on the 19th of Arios, in the year 74 MA.
