Livia dear, you and I have never been friends, nor even direct enemies-
until you started this conflict. In fact, we haven't spoken in over 20
years. Why then, the sudden onslaught of personal attacks and claims
that this somehow has something to do with my as yet brief tenure as
Guildmistress? It's almost as if some outside force of persuasion has
urged you to take a sudden interest in the inner workings of the
Sentinel guild... someone who might actually begrudge the fact I won the
election. You yourself have told me that you have no reason to care....
how odd, but I suppose we may never solve this seeming paradox.

Now as to the matter of your actions themselves, it's interesting that
you would prefer to wait for a time when my soul has collapsed from a
busy month of working for the guild. Often an entire month goes by
without ever seeing you poke your head out of Spinesreach, only to find
you creeping over to the forests after most have left. Truly, we must
applaud your bravery. Drop the 'benefit of Sapience' charade- though we
find your concern touching- and let's get down to what this is really
about.
