Saluttaions all,
I hope your shadow falls upon lush forest grounds whilst reading this.
Varian knows why my memory and ramblings are always jolted by this Dowaf
Koron, but alas for you, it happened once more.
He was one of the first I had to show our newfound skill to. The Hunter
spoke of being able to re-invite Natures Forest plants into an outdoor
location they were once driven from, many decades ago. With the dead of
Jallah, the Elder, I fear our search for the knowledge took longer than
expected.
So long even, many forgot why we undertook this quest in the first
place. I say we, but again I look around and see my companions having
strayed from the Path.
In the meantime the Duiran Council has started to throw up their own
version of 'walls'. Now even harboring the Guildhall of the Druids in an
ever growing encampment with all the comforts of City life.
Once we swore to never grow into a large settlement, putting a strain on
a relatively small Natural area. To find a way to show the Walled the
benefits of outdoor life. How shelter can hinder the hardening and
strengthening of a person. How comfort can take away the desire to move
ahead.
We were going to break their walls, free areas of occupation where
needed. Reintroduce vines on manhandled rocks.
How ignorant we have become.
Sweet canopy, some have learned to love like a roof, open up and let the
rain in once more.

p.s. To all city leaders: I welcome your shelter, your trade. As you
have mine for centuries. I expect to be allowed to bring my vines on my
trip to town. I assure you, they are beneficial to both parties.
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Niuran, in the year 223 MA.
