Greetings Fellow Aetolians,
After a small conversation with the Ratman himself, I've fully confirmed
the suspicion. Mutton comes from the rats we sell to Ratman! I was in
reality just looking for my brain, which some idiot novice gave to him
because it looked like a young rat, and he told me that he ate it the
other night. So here is the slight conversation we had:
You tell the Ratman, "My brain! I think you have it, some novice of mine
told
me he sold it to you because it looked like a young rat"
You tell the Ratman, "I'm coming to get it"
Dockhand Square.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth.
The
Ratman stands here quietly. A sewer grate looms darkly beneath your
feet. A
cute little humgii is sitting here placidly, attached to a leash.
You see exits leading north, northeast (open door), east, southeast
(open door)
, south (open door), southwest, west, northwest and in (open door).
You tell the Ratman, "My brain please"
The Ratman tells you, "I eats it."
You tell the Ratman, "Are you sure?"
The Ratman tells you, "Yep I dids it the other nigh."
At this point I was slightly annoyed, and just felt like making
conversation when I learned the horrible truth.
You tell the Ratman, "Anyways! Need anything? Rats? someone dead? I'm
sure
you do unspeakable things to dead bodies"
The Ratman tells you, "No only be selling it to Rurin for food."
You tell the Ratman, "Oh yes, you sell rats for... what does he make
with
them?"
The Ratman tells you, "Mutton."
So now, after this highly irritating quest for my brain (which no longer
exists) I'm also never eating Rurin's mutton again.
