Greetings, Sapience.

My name is Tarinn Lee. I am a Sentinel. I do not write on behalf of my
guild, or the Duiran Council. I am writing to you because, as many
'neutral' guilds must feel, someday I know I am going to have to decide
to be 'light' or 'dark'. I do not want my membership of my guild to
classify me as one or the other. I am not a very bloodlusty person, but
I will fight if I see good cause. Do Not label me as an Ally of Light,
because I do not believe in life the way Enorian does. Do not label me
as an Ally of Darkness, because I do not exterminate undeath and
possible threats on sight.

I have seen much hatred in my brief five years of age. I have seen the
allegid 'pro-life' people excersize 'anti-death' and vice-a-versa. There
is a difference, and I wish that others were able to see this.
Supporting something is different then extinguishing it's opposite.

I am pro-life, but I am not anti-death. I have made friends with people
who kill the Daru on sight. I have made friends with people who make
habits of leaving a room just because somebody with a different view
walks in. I despise some Daru just as much as I despise some Saguine. I
see men who are so devout to being 'good' that they are evil in their
ways. I see the arrogance and power of 'good' and I see the arrogance
and power of 'dark'.

I know who I will defend, and I wish for those who wish to strike me
down to know also. The Wilds, The Sentinels, The Duiran Council, and my
Husband. In that Order. Do not label me as a 'lightie' or as a 'darkie'
no matter what my Guild will claim to be. I am too stubborn to become
part of this Anti-everything idiocy.
