Greetings fellow Sapients,

Most of you have heard of the event which occured a few months ago, in
Slyphian 194MA. Many were present and witnessed it personally. From
those witnesses the account was told of how Lady Omei and Her followers
entered the Temple of Mystery while Lady Niuri momentarily shifted Her
attention to a Cabalist ritual, taking the opportunity to assault the
glass tower and rescue the dream-figment locked away inside. But that is
only part of the story. What follows is my honest attempt to tell the
whole story from the beginning.

The circumstances leading to the latest happenings began over 23 years
ago when Leksotar, a servant of Mystery, told of a strange phenomenon at
the fissure in the temple. By conferring with the servants at the pool,
plinth and whirlwind it was discovered that elemental surges were
affecting the temple and disturbing Mystery's balance. Every few days
one element would surge while the 3 others receded. Within a few months
we found 2 locations in Sapience which showed changes and were cycling
through watery, earthen, fiery and windy phases in conjonction with
Kentorakro. In the following years we located 2 other such locations,
but we were no further ahead in determining the cause of these surges.

All this time Mystery's balance in Kentorakro was continuously affected!
Finally it was noticed that at each location a "dream creature", as we
called them, was causing the elemental unbalance. Was Lady Omei
intentionally using these creatures to secretly hurt Lady Niuri? We
avoided a direct confrontation at that time, for our main concern was to
restore the balance of Kentorakro. The dream-figments needed to be
stopped from activily affecting the 4 areas of Sapience and by so doing
also affecting Kentorakro. Thus the creatures were brought to the temple
and prevented from leaving. It is important to note here that no harm
ever came to the dream-figments and they were actually well taken care
of. Unlike the slaying of an innocent adolescent boy just recently at
the temple... sorry I digress, so to continue. Time passed very quickly
it seemed and the release of the dream-figments remained impossible
without throwing Kentorakro again in a state of unbalance. Throughout
their stay at the temple alternative measures were studied, including
the possible return of the dream-figments.

What is done is done and nothing can change the past. Every person or
group which take action of some kind often have reasons or mitigating
circumstances unknown to the general populace of Sapience. Such it was
with this incident. Inevitable and necessary actions were taken with the
knowledge available at the time.

Thank you for your time, I felt it was intolerable to have only the
latter part of the story told and not the initial details which set off
a series of events bringing both Orders to the calamity suffered now.
