Infernal Guild and Mersalis

Well, since so many of you have decided to waste the gold to post
opinions, I felt I should express mine as well *grin*
This whole hunting Mersalis down until he quits class is really, well
basically crap. It's plain and simply put: The Infernal Guild has no
right to decide who should keep class and who doesn't. And for whatever
reasons Mersalis is not part of the guild no longer, shouldn't be there
concern, unless he posed a threat to the guild afterwards.
Yes, I understand how betrayed the Infernals may feel, but it's no
reason to be imposing to him that he pay a fee of 10k per year to keep
from being hunted or else. That's robbery. Of his life and his profits.
Who cares how much he can afford to pay or not?
Mersalis, I commend you in striving to keep what rightfully belongs to
you, your class. You earned it, and you deserve to keep what you earn.
I can't speak for Varian himself, but I would think if he felt that no
person whould keep class after earning it, and leaving their guild, he
would have made things differently. But as I see it, he hasn't done so.
Just a small opinion of mine, I felt to make known, as many of you have.

Alexia
