Salutations, Keeper,
I don't expect you to respond to this post. Nevertheless, I wished to
clear a bit of misinformation contained within your response to the
Xin'ba of House Ve'kahi. I do not know nor do I care if the
misinformation was intentional. Regardless of the intent, I will not
tolerate lies being spread about me or any of my subjects.
The bit of misinformation that I wish to address was your claim that the
Ve'kahi had claimed the Morgun Forest as "ours." You no doubt made this
phenomenal leap of logic because of how the Ve'kahi foundational
document used to read. Aye, in the past it read, "House Ve'kahi of the
Morgun Forest." However, that statement was declared simply because our
Castle is located therein. We have not nor do we ever intend to claim
that the Morgun Forest is ours. Because it is obvious to me that others
have so easily mis-interpreted what is meant by "House Ve'kahi of the
Morgun Forest," I have since amended our foundational scrolls to simply
read "House Ve'kahi." On the advice of my Inner Council, I felt it best
to follow this course of action.
Regarding this situation, I believe our Mahdi (Lord Dhaivol) had wise
words to impart to us. I quote: "Walk where you may, My Children, but
claim not
to be of tainted Earth."
Although the topic I am about to discuss was not brought up in your
post, before any further misinformation is spread, I feel I should
address another issue as well.
I understand that another catalyst for the discharge of my subjects from
the ancestral lands of the Consanguine was because of my decision to
obfuscate the rosters of the Ve'kahi Undead Nation. I hear, and please
correct me if I am wrong, that you interpreted this action as an attempt
to prevent Bloodloch from discharging my people. If this is truth, then
I'm afraid that you have once again misinterpreted us. The truth of the
matter is I hid the Ve'kahi rosters from the world at large because I
had received reports that my people were being harassed simply because
of their affiliation with the Ve'kahi Undead Nation. I found this
absolutely reprehensible, so in an attempt to protect my people from
this needless harassment, I chose to obscure the identity of my
subjects. Their identities remain hidden to this night.
The final topic I wished to address from your post deals with the matter
of the conversation you quoted. You claim that you had a conversation
with a "leader." The only leader within my domain is me. The Inner
Council of Seven and the Ounami Synod function solely as an advisory
body. I know this conversation that you quoted never happened with me,
so I am left with one final illusion to dispel.
In my wisdom, I have granted my subjects freedom of expression. This
"leader" you quoted was simply expressing his/her opinion. If it is your
way to stifle the free expression of ideas, so be it. However, that is
not how I rule within the Ve'kahi Undead Nation.
If you wish to know what our official stance on "life" is, you simply
have to contact me through the appropriate diplomatic channels and I
would be more than happy to relay the House's official stance to you.
Have a good evening, Keeper.
Signed,
Padishah Zoharim of the Ve'kahi Undead Nation
