After much deliberation, I have found the answers to the questions which
have been posed to the world at large, and the reason for the animosity
between the undead and those who are vehemently opposed to the
condition.

You claim that we are unnatural, that we exist outside the cycle of
life? Such hypocrisy! Of course we do not deny that we exist outside
that cycle, but so do you. Anyone has visited the Mirror, ever, exists
outside of that cycle. If you believe the words you preach, you realize
that death is the last part of that cycle, yet you beg the Divine for
restoration, because you fear that which is beyond. Those of us who have
embraced death know what lies beyond, and that terrifies you. Which is
why, as long as you are granted reprieve from the Mirror, you will
always hate us.

Hate comes from fear. You fear us and what we know. You are not brave as
you would like to believe, for you fear to face true death. Undead are
quite unlike you. We embraced death that we may exist beyond ourselves.
If you wish to hate us, that is your right, and never have we claimed
differently. But hate yourselves as well, for you as unnatural as we
are. We chose different roads, but the cycle was just as broken. When
you believe your own lies, perhaps the rest of the world would be more
tolerant to hear them.
