Your transgressions upon Mystery

Aren,

Your sacrilege is almost too immense to discuss -- I do not believe I
have ever read anything like what you wrote to the Goddess of Mystery.
How your Matron allows this behavior is unknowable to me. Your impiety,
however, comes as no surprise to me, and probably to others who remember
your flimsy ('versatile') sense of loyalty. I do not write to you in a
sanctimonious manner, though: while many are disgusted with your
flailing insults, I cannot claim to be any paragon of faith, and while I
write this in defense of my Goddess, it is not as her priestess but as
an admirer that I humbly present myself.

Instead, I wish to speak on your tiresome, untenable penchant for drama
and antics. Aren, of all the people I have ever known, you are one of
the most irresolute, flighty, capricious, and thoughtless. Do you fear
you are descending into obscurity? Does that explain your acting out
with impulsive force, like a blind man barreling into the fray; does it
clarify your brutishly composed public posts in a final attempt to
exonerate yourself? What is it all for? To exercise some private
vendetta, to wantonly strike at the sagacious Hand of Divinity, to cause
harm for its own sake? You are looking like a fool, and indeed, you have
shown again and again through unreasoned reversals and decisions, you
are.

It would be comedic were it no so alarming in its scope! Aye, and in its
violence!

Sincerely,
Callisto

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Niuran, in the year 188 MA.
