Assumptions

Two excellent ways to reach false conclusions are to begin with false
assumptions and to employ faulty logic. You shall find straightforward
examples of all three in your post, Firefly, should you choose to
revisit your words clearmindedly.

Regarding false assumptions, however, I do admit my surprise to learn
that your 'strong empathy towards life and Light' does not extend even
to the boundaries of your own blood ties. The speed with which your
family denounces you is rather telling.

Still, I must conclude that your Matron finds much inside you of which
to be proud, and inferring your 'purity in deed and heart' from the
evidence of your recent actions is a Mystery I shall delightfully
contemplate. I congratulate you on following Her teachings of remaining
opposed to 'unnecessary devastation and senseless cruelty' ... except,
apparently, when your emotions require them.
