Consanguine of Sapience,

You have all doubtlessly heard your fellow Blooded speak of the
necessity of unity amongst our kind. Many have come to this very forum
proffering a new monarchy or threatening the use of force to create
unity, and what has been the result? The empire led by the Primus fell
many years ago and has never arisen anew, and all attempts to re-create
the empire have been spectacular failures.

I have had a century to watch our people, to observe growth and change,
to observe the rigidity of the several organizations claiming dominion
over our people; I have been left with one conclusion: unity amongst our
people is necessary, but our people have been unwilling to put aside
their prejudices and predilection toward a particular expression of
Consanguine culture. We have been lacking in an organization whose sole
focus is the Strength and Unity of our people without a particular
cultural, social, or political agenda.

We can have true unity, through which our people can know strength, or
we can have fragmented, disunited bickering over the place of peerage,
generational lineage, and titles. Much has changed since the nights of
the empire; much has changed even since the creation of the Consanguine
Imperium--neither of these organizations have been able to create a
solid bond of unity between our people, nor to lend strength to the
whole Body.

There are simple facts of our existence woven in to the very fabric of
reality; we are of One Blood, we stem from one common source. We are, in
essence, one single family. We are not static, we are not unchanging,
but we are still one people. Through the Gens Sanguinis, I aim to offer
only a vehicle for communication in order to foster true unity and
thusly strength within our people.

It is not an organization which can, or will, attempt to force a
particular cultural paradigm upon you, instead it will merely allow you
to come to know your brethren in a forum where superficial differences
are set aside. We weclome all Blooded, whether they comport themselves
after the manner of Imperial Aristocrats or are judged as rogues by that
very same group. All that matters is the Blood which flows within you,
for that Blood speaks to the truth of my words.
