Many remember how She, after decades of forbearance, finally made a
public example of those who had failed to stop the illegal harvesting of
herbs in Her Temple environs. Some have wondered how She will deal now
with those who, by reason of Lord Belakai's recent Shapings, cause harm
to the plant life merely by being present in any location. Many remember

Temple environs. Some have wondered how She will deal now with those

plant life merely by being present in any location.
The answer is quite simple. Those who harvested in the past did so in
deliberate defiance of Lady Niuri's wishes. Their actions were
eventually met with severe consequences, as history records. History
also records the wisdom and mercy that Lady Niuri showed when the guild
in question made amends. In addition to restoring the mountain passes to
their former state, Lady Niuri gifted the realm with a new mountain
which honors the guild, growing taller as that guild's esteem grows in

Passively and unintentionally harming the plant life is a different
matter. Lady Niuri will not hold it against Her followers, or any
sincere visitors and seekers in Her Temple, if their current condition
unavoidably harms the plant life. Clearly there is a difference between
deliberate violation of a sacred Temple and unintentional harm to the
local plant life.Passively and unintentionally harming the plant life is

I hope this clarifies the matter for any who found it confusing.
Personally speaking, I would like to suggest that all scholars,
including those in Lady Niuri's Order, work to study this new situation
and see what remedies might be found.I hope this clarifies the matter

One idea that occurs to me is that our esteemed Druids might find a way
to use an ability similar to that with which they Preserve their own
groves, to make an area impervious to this damage for a period of time.
This seems to me a reasonable direction for research, and I am sure that
many of you can think of other productive lines of inquiry. One idea that

May this latest turn of events remind all of us to exercise fitting and
seemly respect for the Divine and for Their sacred environs.May this
