The Fighting Pit of Spinesreach

Hail Aetolians,

As Wylliam decided to point out the faults of the farmers, in all their
simplicity, I believe I'll make a response. As I believe Crosis said, I
hope you do not mind if I call you a hyppocrite. How many of your kind
enter the hunting grounds to slay the various creatures there, How many
of you have killed the elk of the underground forest, the bears, even
the Single Unicorn I've caught sight of?

You wish to stop the Farmers of Spinesreach because they pit them
against each other without 'agreeing' to the duel. You compare them to
the arena battles, and declare that because Combatants in the arena are
on knowledgeable terms, it is better than the Farmer's pit fights. Let
me ask you something then, When was the last time you asked the mhun
miner to battle? The Goblin in Azdun? When was the last time you asked
the graceful elk for its hide? For this reason, the simple farmers of
Spinesreach do not ask the Lion whether it wishes to fight the basilisk.

And you have now, your answer as to why it was built, and why it
thrives.

Lord Desian Atragen, The Abomination.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Lleian, in the year 177 MA.
