The War

It would have been good to settle this conflict in negotiations. When
Bloodloch's troops wiped out Enorian's army on the field of battle, I
first raised the question of how to settle this conflict and when
Bloodloch began to conquer Enorian and it was clear that Enorian had
lost this war, I approached the Enorian leadership with Strung's
authorisation to scout of the possiblities for peace talks. When I
approached Cuchulainn his statement was that he has no intentions to say
anything in that regard and I should talk to his ambassador Osifer. I
did and he told me that while he "is always interested to hear what
neigboring cities think", he had no intentions to start any negotiations
whatsoever, too. So sadly, this war could have ended alot earlier and
alot of lives of milita and troops could have been safed, if had not
been for the pride of a few people. So, while I am not a friend of
robbery, I have a hard time feeling any pity for Cuchulainn who brought
this onto himself, and his city.
On a different note, I plan to hold a small series of lectures and
discussions on the recent war, on it's origin, development, impact and
implications in spinesreach (public library) usually at the howling
starting in 3 months, not only to discuss the war but also to record
it's history for future generations. I welcome everyone interested to
join me there, but would especially welcome members of the leadership
(current or former) and militia (current or former) of both sides.
