I am not a Vizier. I am not a leader of Enorian in any way, shape, or
form.
Now that that's out of the way, let me explain some things to you,
Strung...
Enorian attacked Bloodloch after certain people were running to
Bloodloch after attacking Enorian. Bloodloch begged Enorian to stop and
promised to change. Enorian agreed and a peace treaty was signed.
Genocide was the Keeper.
Povox became Keeper and he broke the treaty with Enorian. It reopened a
state of war, and this time, Enorian conquered Bloodloch, gaining all
lands controlled by the Loch. Enorian then set about giving Bloodloch a
way to rebuild themselves, much as we did Ashtan, a city now thriving
since Enorian conquered them. In exchange for certain laws being put in
place, after a 10 year 'proving' period, Enorian would hand back a good
chunk of land, as well as giving some of the other land to Ashtan and
Duiran, keeping very little for ourselves.
Now Serivalis is the Keeper and you have come out of Torpor, Strung, and
you feel that you've been oppressed, despite the fact that you didn't
even care enough to show up for the last two wars. You start "rallying"
the citizens and you convince Serivalis to toss out the treaty again.
This is the third treaty in 30 years Bloodloch has now broken. And I say
broken, not withdraw. Enorian handed back the lands per the treaty. We
upheld our end, and the moment we did, Bloodloch decided the treaty was
null and void.
By breaking the treaty, you just stole land from Enorian, land we fought
for and won. We gave it back with certain terms and conditions that
Bloodloch refuses to now meet. Now, if Bloodloch truly wants peace, they
can withdraw from the treaty, making the conditions AS THEY WERE prior
to the treaty being signed - that is, cede back the land to Enorian and
we will talk peace.
Your post on "give us the lands you've taken from us" is ludicrous. What
did we take from you that we did not win in a fair fight that you didn't
even bother to show up for? Much like our duel, you just didn't show up.
We have taken no lands from you since the treaty was signed. We gave you
what was negotiated to be given back to you in return for laws and bow
Bloodloch - not Enorian - has failed to uphold their end of the bargain.
Do I want war? Personally, I do not. I will fight if my city calls upon
me, but I am against this war. But I also think if Bloodloch wants to
sit down like responsible adults and talk out a new treaty, then you
guys need to make sure this last one was withdrawn from and not broken.
Return the lands and peace can be had. But if Bloodloch really wants a
war, which is what I believe you're pushing for, despite the fact that
some of your fellow citizens don't want it and view you yourself as a
plague upon the city, then by all means, keep the land. Just don't
complain if Enorian acts. Bloodloch did, after all, break the treaty and
steal a bunch of land.
So it's really quite simple. I know you have trouble reading, so I'll
dumb it down for you:
If Bloodloch wants peace, they hand back the lands they stole by
breaking the treaty.
If Bloodloch does not want peace, then quit speaking, because Enorian is
not the one who broke the treaty. We upheld our end.
On a side note, I find it ironic that the very people pushing for this
war - the Necromante Unificate and House Iscariot - both claimed
originally that they had nothing to do with Bloodloch and that they
simply wanted Enorian to have certain laws. But now they turn to
Bloodloch's war machine and convince a city that, honestly, Enorian
wouldn't have a problem with if they'd stay in their corner of the world
and enforce their own laws. It's the fact that Bloodloch was conquered
and refused to enforce their own laws.
I don't think Enorian can trust Bloodloch ever again. I know if I
conquered Bloodloch, I'd do my best to see the city levelled to the
ground. Hazzyq, Azrael, Xzato and others - they are trustworthy. People
like you, Strung, are not. Enorian never lorded over Bloodloch since the
conquering. Some of our citizens did ask that you guys enforce your own
laws - laws we put in via the treaty. Enorian has never once threatened
war on Bloodloch since conquering. Yet now, Bloodloch tosses out the
treaty, acts like they are innocent and they want peace. I'm calling
bullshit. If you want peace, return the lands. If you truly want peace,
then you give back what you stole. Enorian won that land, fair and
square, and gave it back with terms and conditions. And Bloodloch broke
them.
One other thing, Strung...
Are you ever going to come out of Bloodloch long enough to duel me or
must you always come out in groups and try to team me? I mean,
honestly...here's this big bad Vampire in charge of an entire House and
all he does is cower. Really, Strung, when will you grow up?
You can't have your cake and eat it too.
