Dexter:
Your posts are riddled with hypocrisy. You claim you want Enorian to
enact a Sanctuary law. Our citizens 'run to Enorian' after a fight. I
ask you, why aren't you going after Ashtan, who's Sanctuary law reads:
Any citizen or law abiding guest may seek sanctuary in Ashtan, if
attacked outside the city. If the attacker pursues, it will be treated
as an attack or murder.
Or perhaps Spinesreach? "Citizens may take refuge in the City at all
times, except after assaults started by themselves. This will take
effect during a twelfth of an Aetolian day (5 minutes) after the
assault. In times of war, this does not apply, nor does it apply on
assaults against city enemies."
Since the entire Unicate Necromante (hey, those are pretty big words,
who helped you?) are enemies to Enorian, it would seem to me that either
Sanctuary law would still allow you to be slain, hunted, maimed, or
whatever and the person run back to Enorian for sanctuary.
But now, let's compare the classes of the other cities and ours:
Syssin: They can phase before going back to Spinesreach, waiting out any
time limit
Cabalist: They can summon Xenophage or Blackwind and wait out any time
limit before running back to Bloodloch. Did I mention they can elicit
switch with about 9 million afflictions on them as well as Pathfinder to
escape combat?
Infernal: Can blackwind to wait out time limit before returning to home
city.
Consanguine/Bloodborn: Can Mistform to wait out time limit before
returning.
Sentaari: Have no way of waiting out the time limit, so thoughtfully,
Ashtan has a non-existent Sanctuary law that grants broad protection.
Teradrim: I'm not really sure what they have, truth be told.
Now onto Enorian!
Paladins: No place inaccessible by others to go to wait out a time limit
Daru: Looks like they're up the same creek with the Paladins
Luminaries: Well, the Luminaries have Angel Refuge, but that particular
ability takes a long time to activate and is extremely difficult to pull
off during combat.
When Enorian entered Bloodloch, it was because citizens of Bloodloch
were entering Enorian and killing our citizens inside our city, much
like you are doing - or attempting to do - now. They would then run
straight back to Bloodloch.
I do not see Enorian citizens running into Bloodloch and starting fights
then hiding in Enorian. You know what I do see? I see you and your
incestous family teaming up on people for no reason then complaining
when they run from you and enter Enorian for protection - mind you, the
only protection they really can get since we don't have the escaping
abilities or the off plane hiding abilities available to those of a
darker leaning.
I see you becoming frustrated that people have a place they can go and
you just cannot kill them easily with your groups of two and three. So
you make up your little clan and declare this pseudo 'war' on Enorian.
To some, it may seem like an honest attempt at 'forcing the hand' of
Enorian. To others, it looks like you and your family of thugs simply
looking for another reason to kill people.
Know this: Throughout our history, when Enorian is threatened, we have
fought back. We do not bend to the will of those who wish to inflict
harm upon the city. We will die until we are all visiting Minia before
we bow to your wishes. No one dictates foreign policy to Enorian. If you
want to dictate it, you convince a city to declare war and you COME
AFTER US.
Stop playing by your own rules. If you want this so bad, then convince
someone to come after us. You keep crying poor Bloodloch but we
conquered Bloodloch and upheld our end of the bargain, returning all the
land we said we would. We could have kept the land and kept Bloodloch
weak forever, but chose not to. That sanctuary law in Bloodloch is one
of the very few changes made to Bloodloch law after we conquered them.
It does little to phase the Loch, though, since they can sit off plane
until the time limit expires (and they do).
In other words, Dexter, because I'm sure your feeble mind has trouble
understanding such a longwinded post, I'm telling you as a citizen of
Enorian that we won't back down. You may have the superior raiding
abilities, the superior escape abilities, but the last two months, it
was not Enorian cowering. I saw Strung, Yos, Xarian, Wedric, Mazkul and
others dying. I saw one of ours die for every five of yours. The initial
surprise is over.
It's not too late, Dexter. You can stop this now.
Or you can die like the rest of your bastard clan.
