I would like to point out that the feasts, much like a blood hunt or any
other hunt, are meant to be sporting events. That is why we give
advanced warning. Some people are saying that we will hunt those who
attempt to interfere with our feasts after the fact, using it as an
excuse for why they do not get involved. I just want to make it clear
that we have never done this, and that we will not do it. If we simply
wanted to kill people, we would not be announcing it.
Those who do attack Iscariot members after the feast and outside of the
villages are taking it outside of that context and are dealt with
accordingly. The choice belongs entirely to those who choose if they
want to get involved or not. Even the villagers have the option of
fleeing into the woods or otherwise like Jaru has done; Arbothians and
the Shastaanites are just made of sterner stuff than their southern
cousins.
