An explanation.

The accord between Bloodloch and Enorian states that "Geryon will be
arrested and placed in custody. If held in Bloodloch he will be
permitted to continue the teaching and training of Bloodloch citizens
from within prison, but he will not be permitted to engage in any
experiments, or rituals outside of this training. Any person assisting
such actions will be guilty of treason."

Just as the treaty states, Geryon was placed under house arrest within
the reborn hub far beneath the city and not allowed to leave. There he
stayed for the past ten years. Why only now, after the lands held in
"trust" are being returned and your allied status was repealed have you
chosen to sneak into the city and abduct him?

Aside from a beating imposed upon him while under arrest (as recorded by
Cuchulain in public post 3215) you have obviously had the power to take
him should you choose, but you didn't. It was common knowledge he
survived that attack and remained in house arrest.

The only possible reason it seems to me is petty intimidation. You are
frustrated that the treaty agreed to return to Bloodloch a pittance of
its former territory, and now that the time has come you had to choose
between the threat of war to keep the city from that, or to take a
softer target.

I must hand it to you, though- you are unpredictable. Whenever we think
we know what Enorian will do next, they sink to a new low. Bloodloch has
followed your treaty to the letter, enemied citizens for your sanctuary
laws, left the temple of Artifice in ruins. I suppose that all we can do
now is request that you not beat Geryon any more.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Khepary, in the year 167 MA.
