1. Wedric is burning, the herbs are dying.
2. Everyone uses herbs.
3. For those who kept using venoms and forging as an example, lets see:
Forging involves comms bought in comm shops, and if a forger can't get
comms or can't get enough comms because a rogue bought them all, he
doesnt sell, much like not being able to get herbs. Venoms are
controlled by the Syssin leadership completely and totally, and a rogue
has NO way of affecting this. If a rogue burns forests, know what can be
done? Bam, harvesting taken away (Note, I know this from experience).
4. You don't care about stopping the burning, that's fine. Nobodies
forcing your hand. However, that's one less person fixing it, and means
more time before it's fixed.
5. I think we all know Duiran's not going to back down on this: They're
not replanting cause that just provides more fuel for the fire, but I'm
fairly sure there are plenty of preserved Groves that can be used to
replant if/when this stops. It makes sense that they wont back down, as
that would be fairly stupid on their parts, and while I despise the
Council with most of my being, one thing they generally aren't is
stupid.
6. Quit whining on news boards about this: Duiran has handed down it's
decision, which is "So long as Wedric continues burning, and the forests
are harmed, there will be no harvesting or selling." Either fix it or
stop complaining: If you're not willing to work for your herbs, then why
bother worrying about getting 'em?
