The "Fishing Village" and a few other points

I've decided to step in as the sheer ignorance of the posts is really
starting to wear at my nerves. I'm going to run the risk of sounding
ignorant myself, but where did this notion of Tasur'ke being a small
fishing village come from? I imagine its not from anyone who's actually
been there or they'd notice theres not a single fisherman, nor docks or
anything that usually suggest fishing is a big part of life in the
village. Jaru, Shastaan, these are fishing villages which is quite
obvious by the boats and the fisherman that reside there. Anyone that
has actually looked around the village of Tasur'ke might have noticed a
large marketplace, which bustles with people, local townswomen shopping.
I may be wrong but I've always been under the impression that Tasur'ke
profited from the harvesting of pearls which is made into jewelry and
sold by their most prominient citizen, Constantine. So, I'm really at a
loss to understand how a village which profits from the sales in their
marketplace, from their commodities, and jewelry has been perceived as a
fishing village.

While I'm at it, a few other points. Expansion: My geography may be off
but examining the surrounding areas of Tasur'ke, I've yet to actually
see where it stands to harm the forest. The Fens and Belladonna's keep
lay to the west, the ruins of Hashan to the south, an ocean to the east,
and the great unknown to the north. Again, do correct me if I'm wrong
but I've yet to see how any real damage will be done. Beyond that, did
it occur to anyone that perhaps an agreement could be made as to where
expansion would or would not take place. Irruel: I call it like I see
it, abuse of power or not, I have every right to state how it seems. I
may not be able to do anything about it, you're right that only Lord
Varian has that power and thanks so much for reminding us all of that.
I'm sure your blatant post stating the obvious was appreciated by many.
And while your spouting off the obvious as far as who has the right to
judge and to not judge, you might want to inform Sissfus that he is not
anyone to decide who deserves what.

While we all commend your valiant efforts to make Tasur'ke like your
home of Eleusis, I'll point it out again. I've yet to see anything
flourish in Eleusis besides the Sentinel's Guildhall. Sounds like a
lovely place, except for those that aren't of the guild. So perhaps you
want to step out of your shell and realize not everyone wants what you
want. Maybe the invisible fisherman of Tasur'ke in the non existant
boats harbored to the unseen docks do, but maybe the people that
actually live there and can be seen do not.

The last posts have been nothing but Haern said this, Haern said that. I
think I can state with absolute certainty that the hearsay of who ever
thinks they know His intentions and His conversations is pretty much
disregarded as nothing more than the ranting of a zealot. Point blank,
save your time and money because I am going to believe what I heard Lord
Haern state Himself, not the conceptions of His followers. So you can
tell me what Haern said to you, and how He feels but until I hear Him
say it, you're wasting your breath. While I'm much appreciative of the
translators, your services will not be needed any longer.

So, in summary, if you have nothing to say that has no real basis or
actual fact behind it, posting it for the world to see is futile. Though
I do love these mythical stories of a simplistic, quaint, fishing
village, if I really cared to hear them, I'd frequent one of the actual
villages that thrive off the fish industry.

One final statement - I am not a cohort and I am not a 'supporter' of
Shoimoro. I am a member of a group that while Shoimoro owns, he is -not-
the group. He has his own seperate group for such and all problems with
him personally should be taken up with him individually. The
organization of Citizens of Tasur'ke is not Shoimoro. It is a group of
people with the same goal. Yes, Shoimoro owns the clan, and he was
elected Elder but I am a member of this organization for the simple
reason of working with people with similar goals and plans. His issues
that extend outside the goal of the organization are his personal issues
and I will not be associated with them.
