Threatening

My dear friendly corrupted Cabalist, I don't think you want to involve
yourself in this matter more than is necessary, for I have no
compunction about slaying you, just as you have no problem with slaying
Daskalos, apparently. Though there are particular mandates of Daskalos
that I do not agree with, his wife was slain by an annoying pest of a
creature that has the audacity to claim her house innocent after the
damage was already done.
Ayalaine did nothing to warrant the death that was handed to her, and if
it's Gracie's desire to be misted for the rest of its life, of its own
volition, then it can simply stay misted. It's unfortunate for it that
its precious artifacts do not protect it from the prying eyes of others
as it might have hoped, but it cannot hand out a death so simply from
one coward to another, namely that annoying creature Ikne, and expect
not to have to face the consequences of such an action.
If it, Gracie, decides to mist whenever the consequences of its actions
come back to haunt it, then that is perfectly acceptable as well, for it
will not be opening that gaping hole in its face and spewing forth the
most inane drivel most of us have had to hear since Misty's departure
from Sapience. Daskalos's own issues with Gracie's house are his own,
but Gracie's actions warrant at least one death, by whomever chooses to
deal it. Whether or not it chooses to accept this is irrelevant, for it
can either be reduced to mistform forcefully or it can choose to reduce
itself to mistform everytime it fears death.
If I was asked, as a child, if I wanted a spanking for doing something
that deserved one or if I wanted to pay consequences for the rest of
eternity, I'd simply take the spanking and be done with it. Obviously
Gracie is a child, and this scenario suits it perfectly. I suppose the
choice is ultimately up to it, however. Hopefully it will choose the
easier of the two roads and save itself the trouble for naught. It will
fall eventually, so why accept two punishments? Alas, I suppose not
every creature that dwells on the earth is capable of fully rational
thought.
In humble service,
Searoth Fiadhaich
