Conflicting Loyalties.

I really have to wonder about some of the conflicting loyalties that
have become apparent during this conflict. Now, as Lord Haern says
Himself, He wants to remake the world in His image. After Tasur'ke has
been consumed by jungle, another village or city will be next until
Haern's Order has accomplished their goal, a world that is fully part of
the rhythm or in other words the destruction of our fledgling mortal
civilization. I am not lying or spin doctoring anything here, I believe
Haern's exact quote as to how this Tasur'ke incident exists in relation
to the other cities and villages is "Their time will come."

It's also generally known that Slyphe is supporting Haern in this
endeavor, at least as far as destroying the village of Tasur'ke goes. If
She is supporting him in this then it isn't illogical to assume that She
supports His final goal as well. People like this then confuse me.

Precious Rain, Alexia Anyar, Slyphe's "Wild" Child.
She is 24 years old, having been born on the 21st of Arios, year 46 of
the Midnight Age.
She is ranked 217th in Aetolia.
She is the 224th ranked combatant with a rating of 100.
She is an extremely credible character.
She is a member of the ruling council of Shallam, with the title of
Vizier.
She is a Forestwalker in the Fellowship of Explorers

Now, it's the line about the ruling council that interests me most.
Shallam, how can you have a Vizier who supports having an innocent
village being consumed by a jungle and being overrun by wild animals?
Not so much on moral grounds as I'm not naive enough to expect that from
you, but how can you have a Vizier who supports this act when your city
that she shares the responsibility of ruling may be next on the list?

People of Aetolia, speak and stand up against this attack on Tasur'ke
because if you ignore it then your time will come as well and by then
there will be no one left to speak up for you.
