Darkest of salutations everyone,
Now it is not often that I wish to waste gold on this board for I am
sure what will follow my post will be the meandering of hot headed fools
and inflated egos bickering back and about "I killed you" and "I will
kill you until you stop killing me" and "I will kill you because you got
dust on my shoes". But everytime I read a post about people calling
other people cowards because they "pick on weaker people" and flee from
battle when they are about to die it makes me laugh. I would like to see
everyone who has ever written a post calling someone a coward for
fleeing from a battle they couldn
or not accpeting a challenge where they would lose, to go take a trip to
Polyargos and single handedly slay the dragon at the top of the
mountian. For everyone that doesn't do this, I call you a coward by your
own means. For everyone that hides here on the mainland from the
terrible and crushingly strong drgaon, I call you a coward.
For those of you who know that you can't beat the dragon by yourself and
stay away from him. Well I call that simple COMMON SENSE. Now if you
wish to call everyone who practices common sense a coward. And if the
preservation of live, one of our most primitive instincts, is being a
coward then DAM (the water kind of course) call me one all day. I like
to live and I do not like to die. So that brings me to my next point. If
someone has mastered the art of surviving, a.k.a. preservation of their
own life, and makes it safely home after most battles thus gaining
experience if they win or not losing any if they had to flee. Who is
worse off? The person they killed or almost killed, or them? And if they
are the better off then who would you say is on top?
Do you think that because you post about us being cowards that it puts
you back or top or saves you some face? Do you think that it hurts our
feelings and will make us stop? *Boo hoo big bad so and so called me a
coward and challenged me to a duel, I shouldn't do that anymore* NO. It
brings a smile to my face, as I am sure to others. A smile that 5
individuals could intice an ENTIRE city, even one such as Enorian who
promotes peace, love, understanding, protection of life and all that BS,
into WAR where they slaughtered countless. Death and destruction, the
very thing they wanted to stop, magnified a hundred fold. And that is
just one example. These public posts are FILLED with the bickering of
people back and forth. And for what?
I leave you with that question
If you feel the need to post back, as I am sure people like Clio,
Daskalos, Iereas, and whoever else feels I stepped on their pretty
little toes with words, I will not be responding. So save your gold and
the eyes of the people who don't want to wade through the hate posts.
Though the I know the people who don't post are the ones who understand
and can grasp such a simple concept as the one described. I thank you
for those who took the time to read this post and I apologise it was
even needed. Thank you
Walk always in darkness,
Ikne Amaratha
P.S. If your going to post about my spelling or grammer, which I know is
terrible, save your breath. Epicurus has been trying to teach me for
years and its not working.
