Greetings, Aetolia--
This is the revised version of the venomlaws, and contains some various
new information.


As of the 21 of Chakros, year 54 of the Midnight Age, a venom ban, and
restriction is being implemented, and enforced upon the realm.

These restrictions and laws shall be binding the sale and purchasing of
the following venoms:
Gecko
Voyria
Delphinium

A temporary venom ban on the following venoms will take effect
immediately. This ban is imposed for the betterment of the herb supply
and stock. It may be lifted at any time by the Shadowsnakes guilds
discretion. These venoms are included with the aforementioned ban:
Curare


The venoms mentioned above are completely restricted from use by any
non-serpent class.

None of the aforementioned venoms are to be sold to any non-serpent. If
any Serpent is found not to conform the aforementioned venom ban, he or
she will be given a warning, and fined 50,000 gold sovereigns. A second
instance, or if the fine has not been paid in a six month time period,
the Serpent will be stripped of their rank, and outcast from the guild,
and banned from all milking locations.
Any person(s) found buying the aforementioned venoms will be banned by
the guild, and absolutely no venoms shall be sold to the said criminal.
No exceptions or excuses are being accepted.

The following venoms will be restricted severely (they are NOT banned),
but the Serpent will be allowed to sell the said venoms at their
discretion:
Kalmia
Aconite
Slike
Loki

In the case of Loki, as it may be envenomed upon arrows, it will be
limited, and restricted until further notice.
1.) You should expect to see higher prices on Kalmia, as well as a very
limited amount milked. Kalmia shall not, and will not be mass stocked.
2.) You should expect to see higher prices on Aconite, as well as a very
limited amount milked. Aconite shall not, and will not be mass stocked.
3.) You should expect to see higher prices on Slike, as well as a very
limited amount milked. Slike shall not, and will not be mass stocked.
4.) A Serpent will be limited on how many customers he may envenom Loki
to, and how many arrows they may envenom at any given point.

All other venoms produced by the Serpent-class ability are hereby
declared legal for possession, milking, and envenoming upon arrows or
other devices.

A price list has been agreed upon, and will be in effect immediately;
and the prices are not negotiable. There is no one set price for all the
venoms, but there is a minimum requirement price that the Serpent will
be required to sell at for the certain venom. These prices vary from
venom to venom. The Serpent may not go below this price, but can raise
it at their discretion. The prices have been presented to the
Shadowsnakes guild, and that information will not be listed on such a
public forum as this.

Furthermore, milkings will be done solely through secretaries, and the
Guild master, as they are the only ones authorized at this time to milk.

Shops will be expected, and required to follow the ban, and price list.
The Shadowsnakes guild requests that all venoms being sold in shops be
marked up 500 gold sovereigns from the base price the Serpent sold it
at. Cities may or may not take action in seeing that these rules are
followed, but the Shadowsnakes guild may discontinue milking for the
said city, and shop owner, as well as brand the said owner a criminal of
the guild. Other repercussions may be taken, but will not be discussed
herein.

All information within this document has been agreed upon by the High
Council, Guild master, and director of the project. This is the final
copy.

The Shadowsnakes guild reserves the right to issue "bans" or "boycotts"
as they see fit on a guild level. They reserve the right to lift any
such "bans" or "boycotts" at any time that they desire. No individual
Serpent or organization is under any obligation to milk or envenom. Any
addendums and additional posts further may outline useful information,
and ignorance to that said information would not be tolerated as an
excuse.
