If the rulers of Enorian actually DID enemy Sayber for his post then
they would be ousted, because they would then have used city powers to
further a petty personal feud. But they'd never be THAT arrogant and
stupid, would they?
And, as you point out, that feud has been running longer than you've
been alive. It started back in the days when you won or lost an argument
by pointing to something other than the combat rankings or a successful
military campaign against a weak and demoralised enemy.
I'm sure that the "five best fighters" know that tilting at Sayber just
makes them appear more foolish. You don't need to worry about your city,
either. It will no doubt trundle along as always. Perhaps breaking a few
more people under it's wheels, but then, what price Light?
