The Age of Rebuilding

And so began the Age of Rebuilding, a period heralded by the conquering
and restructuring of the two of the major population centers on the
continent of Sapience. Ashtan lay almost slumbering, as if waiting the
Dusk it was promised so long ago, so that it might return to the world
in a splendor not seen in decades. Bloodloch lay dormant, its populace
disheartened and broken by the mighty blades of the Enorian army. And
there are those Enorians who spend their effort within the ruins called
Hashan, trying to raise the fallen columns so they might be seen tall
again.

Some might call Enorian the new Citadel, where the Ankyreans lived and
dictated their policy to the rest of the world. With no care in the
world towards the citizens of other towns, the Ankyreans sought only the
betterment of themselves and their lore.

Some might call Enorian the oppressors of Sapience. For in the subtle
rebuilding process, a debt, a gratitude, an influence, and a power is
granted to Enorian and it is not easily shaken off. This debt corrupts
Viziers, causing them to betray their purpose of Light and the teachings
of their patrons Arion and Rahn.

And yet some might call all of this folly. For there are those who do
not see any of this as help, those tortured novices who were killed time
and time again as the warring parties fought over who would score the
final blow on their tiny frames. And as history has shown us, not all
who are in power stay in power for very long. The image of the helping
hand of Enorian will disappear into Shadow as resentment and frustation
build, culminating in a rage and fury directed at a single source with
no allies left.

Only time will tell, I suppose. But let me offer you this one piece of
advice, before you enter into a third transgression:

What Severn has built and then wrecked, He fully expects to stay
wrecked.
