To be a good ruler you must be a good ruler. To be a good ruler you must
be a good person. To be a good person those around you must think you
are a good person. For one in power to be seen as a good person by his
pears he must hold greater and solid power. To hold greater and solid
power you must be loved and trusted by those you rule. Thus true power
does not lie in your army or your ability to suppress but in your
ability to gain trust. True power is the ability to be trusted, it does
not matter weather there trust is misplaced as long as they never think
it is you will never lose power. For even those that seek your power
will follow you as long as you hold the trust of your people. The
greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world that he
didn't exist. The greatest trick a man can pull is to convince the world
that he is good. Power is an illusion that can be swept away by nothing
more than a whisper. For in a whisper is held another kind of power, in
whispers is held the power of destruction. The power to rule and the
power to destroy must be balanced on a fine point to hold either in
place for long. And one must be patient and willing to take the side of
whichever is the strongest when and where it is shown to be so. And
above all other things, the one thing that has the power to grant power
is change if you are unable to change in an instant to the circumstances
with clarity of thought and action you will never keep power even if you
are able to gain it. Power is 2 things trust and change with these two
things you can rule the world forever. With these two things you can
have true power. And finally the most important thing of all is this to
hold true power you must wield all kinds of power, the power to rule the
power to destroy and the power of change. You must hold and use all of
these both in your favor and at times against yourself. For in the end
the thing that all of the kinds of power have In common is that they are
all forms of knowledge. Knowledge is power, this is true. In the end the
smart will rule and the dumb will follow, in the end there is no strong
and weak there is no rich and poor there is only smart and dumb and
those who poses knowledge and know how to use it properly will rule and
hold true power. This is the essence of power knowledge is the essence
of power.
