The Council of Duiran has the following official statement to make
regarding the accusations levied against Vasilus by ruling Benandanti:

We were wrong, and we are sorry. The accusation was spoken without
concrete proof and in haste. The Council wishes to retract this
accusation, and offer this formal apology. It will not undo the mistake
that was done, but it will hopefully serve as a message to the rest of
the realms that Vasilus is not a traitor to the Council.

On other matters:

The issue between Vasilus and Talinon has absolutly nothing to do with
the Duiran Council. Talinon's actions are self motivated, and are
regarding a personal matter between Talinon, Ryntha and Vasilus which
took place years ago. It is not our place to govern the lives of our
council mates, it is our place to protect nature, and thus, the Duiran
Council has no set laws prohibiting the slaughter of Councilmates.

The Duiran Council has been brought into this situation because a
potential wanton destruction of the forest has been voiced, not because
of any matters previous to this situation between Vasilus and the Duiran
Council. The Council has no intention to police a personal matter until
the wilderness is actually harmed in some way.

Vasilus, we advise you to think wisely about the power that has been
trusted to you. You are a Sentinel at heart. Remember it always.
