I believe some clarification is in order.

First, Clio's role here. As far as I know, Clio hasn't pledged to aid me
in any fight if I burn down forests. As I read it, Clio pledged to kill
anyone killing me for stupid reasons, such as silly threats or shouts. I
believe those were her words. Seem pretty straightforward to me, but I
may be wrong. If I am, I urge Clio to correct me.

Next...You all act as if I'm doing this simply because I can...Which
sickens me more than the actual thought of doing it. I would never want
to harm the forests...Despite all your lies, false accusations, and down
right insults...The actions of Duiran and the Order of Haern against me
play a very small role in my feelings. I pose a question to you; How
many of you would give up your lives fighting a fire? Or, just for the
forest in general, if it was necessary? Lives, being the greatest thing
you can give, for the forest that has nurtured you, provided you
protection, etc. And now look at Talinon, one of the newest members of
your ranks. He, who is not even willing to simply APOLOGIZE TO ME for
something that, unless he's -actually- an idiot, he knows is wrong.
Killing me twice for a statement made years ago, that seems wrong to me,
is it not? It could be something as simple as "I'm sorry Vasilus, the
SECOND time I killed you was wrong." I dont care. But he wont...Because
he cares very little for the forest. He cares only for the Hunt.

I hate to say this, and I hope it's not dragging Rahn's Order into
things, as this has nothing to do with them, but as a personal
statement...If it comes to the point where I'm forced to burn land, I
pray that Rahn's Cleansing fire will guide me, purifying the stagnation
not only within the forests itself, but within Duiran as well. I do not
want to do this, but if you will not open your eyes to what is in front
of you, then I must open them for you...
