Corruption

Actually....I am rather amazed and intrigued that an argument of this
proportion has emerged from what was originally an ad for a clan. The
first ad was from someone opposing "corruption" and asking those that
shared his opinion to inquire about joining his clan. The second was an
offer to join another clan, this time from someone for "corruption."
Springing from this were a few posts back and forth on the meaning of
corruption. In my experience, corruption has a form not yet mentioned;
that of taking something good/innocent and twisting it into something
bad, or "corrupted." I sense that this is what has happened here, as a
simple AD has been turned into a debate when in fact, the purpose of the
original article was to inform others of a clan that had been formed.
While I believe that corruption is and always will be that of tearing
down the forces of good and light and replacing it with destruction, I
also believe that we should choose our fights wisely and not start
arguments and debates where there was no basis for one orginially. Just
pulling an argument/debate out of something as simple as an ad is
encouraging the onslaught of corruption by inviting the protagonists to
worm their way into our path and steer us down one of many paths of
destruction - that of anger. These sorts of debates only lead to anger
on both sides as the arguments heat up.
In closing, all I have to say is that I had to quit reading public posts
a long time ago because a lot of what I found was senseless arguing.
This is one of those times. Although, I am going to keep up with posts
now because I tend to miss out on other, important things when I don't.
