Aetolians,

Due to the many questions asked by the younger adventurers of the realm,
the Kindred of Arion has decided that I should explain a wee bit of how
the Arionic Tournament works. Much like last time, this tournament will
contain tests of several aspects of your Aetolian life with each
passing, you move onto the next test until only two contestants are left
for the grande finale.

Last tournament, the schedule was rather simple. The tournament started
with a Capture the Flag event, in which one team eliminated all the
contestants of the other team by capturing their flag a certain amount
of times.

The next round pertained a test of speed and survival: A cross country
run across the entire continent, passing several checkmarks in the outer
corners of our realm. Only the first twenty finishers moved on to the
next round.

The next round was a test of wits and knowledge, a quiz in which the
Lord of Valor himself asked the questions. Questions ranged from modern
Aetolian history, topography, mythology to the knowledge of plants and
the Divine. The top two finishers, Ansury Tercetto and Lessik Anyar
passed to the final duel in Arion's own practice ring.

Both shared a great wealth in prizes, as did some of the other top ten
finishers, yet the largest prize still stands in Mostyn's Hall of
Victors. A statue of the winner forever to be remembered.

This tournament will surely contain much of the same or similar tests,
do not fear that your combat prowess lacks, or that your knowledge base
is too low. It is the combination of your skills and how you apply them,
that will eventually judge if you will be the new winner of the Arionic
Tournament.

My Valor guide your hand to the top of the Tower Ulafum,
