Misinformation

Greetings all who read this. To be frank, right off the bat, I am a bit
annoyed someone as influential and respected in the Realm as Theragil
would fall to the level that oh-so-many others have taken in the past of
using half-truths and misinformation to achieve their aims.

Unfortunately, as Aetherys posted just recently, a majority of the
people in the Realm simply read the posts here on Public, and takes it
for the truth. Sadly, many times the topics adressed in Public are of a
nature that you cannot even gain further information from one side or
the other, thus doomed to only have the information, irrelevant of its
merit, that is posted here. Like I said above, Theragils post had
several instances of half-truth, deceit, and misinformation.

First off, the person that was oh-so-innocent, that only did a prank,
and died for it. That paraphrase, of Theragils post, is a half-truth.
The prank committed to have the person killed was, oh, nothing bad,
simply littering Lord Galleus Temple with plants. Of course not all of
you are a part of an Order, but for those of you who are will recognize
the great disrespect that such is to your God. Just imagine, walking
into your Gods Temple one day and finding it littered with objects that
pertain to those who have declared you their enemy. (for those who
followed, yes, the pranker was a Forestal)

As for accepting and allying one who regularly murders strangers for
using the highway, I will say this. Can Lady Niuri be blamed for the
actions of any single member of the Cabalists? Can Lady Slyphe be blamed
for the actions of any single member of the Druids? Of the Paladins,
Lord Arion? Of the Bloodborn, Lord Galleus? All of the above I hope you
all came to the conclusion of no. The actions of a single member of a
guild do not represent the guild whatsoever. If such were the case, I
could easily call Enorian Evil and Bloodloch Good; for there are always
cases of such whom go against the mainstream of their peers, and usually
get noticed by others.

Anyways, as has been stated in the past, repeatedly, NEVER formulate an
opinion based on a single post, especially one whose base lies in
half-truths and misinformation. I hope all of you heed my words and
increase your knowledge with it.
