Though many do not know of me, for the Grand Artifice has hidden me for
many years, I wish to extend to you the honours that are due your
station. I wish you the best in whatever path you choose.

As I have been relayed information concerning your dealings with your
home city, I felt compelled to speak up, for I believe our goals are
very much aligned.

Without any of the old teachings, you and your guild have sought to
preserve Balance and discover more about it. It reminds me of the
history of the Misty Isles, where a group of individuals, avoiding
persecution, formed a group dedicated to their ideas.

As far as I know, I am the only remaining mystic left of the group who
sought to study the nature of Balance and who were dedicated to its
protection. And I am sure you have learned, that Balance is not a
one-dimensional thing.

Some of your opponents argue otherwise, and while they come from their
own views, they do not understand the dynamic, living being that Balance
is.

It seems that I have become longwinded in my time, therefore let me come
to my point. Overseer Arslen has offered an invitation to you to come
into the fold of the City of Ashtan. Let us share what knowledge we have
of Balance.

Let us further the work of Balance, and strive to educate the population
once again as to its nature.
